I feel like we had a good “budget meeting” last night. I ran it like a class kinda and had Rocky do it too. Had them write down the Needs, Wants and Long term goals. Then write down how much each of those cost. Then subtract the needs for their paychecks and divide what was left throughout Long Term Goals and Wants in accordance with how soon they wanted those things done and by priority. It came out well and I think Sammy will do just fine especially while he’s staying here. He said he felt like he was cheating because Mom pays 30 on his car insurance and pays for his phone, Dad pays the rest and 400 a month on his car. Then we cover lights, water , food, and roof here so he really has no expenses. Which gave me a great opening to point out that the light have got up by 50 bucks and the water by 10 since he moved in and groceries figure at 50 per person. It is in no way a complaint at that point, it’s an awareness. I again told him we wouldn’t be asking for anything but he needs to be aware that forgetting to turn a light off when he KNOWS he’s going to be out of the house for 12 hours (happened Friday) has got to stop, it does effect the bill. If he even feels a slight twinge of guilt for that $50 that’s how he can help. Mentioning the 12 hour shift I brought up the house work. I included Rocky and explained when and why I always end up doing them. I’m tired of it and it’s not fair. I need their help. Get up in the morning and I’m worn out just from getting dressed so then I need to do dishes too? before work? because they get so pilled up and just sit there. I can’t stand it! So I do them myself. Going to work that much more tired and still doing a 12 hour shift.

Rocky discovered that we spend on NEEDS 430 a week. (Some weeks more than others) If I lost my job this week he could not do it on his own. I have some back up work and I’m sure I could supplement what he’s making enough to make it work..... but it would be easier if he went out and got a better job.

His latest idea.... there is a guy who comes into his work that does concessions for events at Bridgestone Arena and apparently you can work there just a night and never again..... so he’s going to set Rocky up with a trial night or something like that. This guy claims that he makes about $300 a night. Hourly it pays more and he will get tips ....... I’m hopeful I’m always hopeful. Guy said that he works like 70 hours a week because he wants to and there are guys that work 20.... it’s kinda your choice. What a fun way to work!

I have my yearly OBGYN appointment this morning. 10:30. I’m driving an hour to go to the one I’ve always gone to. I hate going to new Docs for that ..... and last year this guy got me out 2 mins before my actual appointment time. He doesn’t take forever getting in there and getting out. So I will drive that far because It takes less time in the drive than I would spend in most other offices. .... I also need to remember to add drugs to the list of stuff I’m taking while I’m there and ask about how they might effect the BC.
