baby shower dinner ashes. in 2017. got it.

yeah so. like i said on Sun. which was like the 29th i think. we all went to my cousin Megan’s baby shower. she’s 4 months along due in nov. maybe like around the 7th. i thought Dad was coming but no. it was just my sister mom, aunt and i. um.........yeah so when we got there her Megan’s i mean. yes Megan’s husband Tyler was holding balloons. and he greeted everyone. my mom’s coousin Katie was there. she’d been a swim instructor at one point. she looks it. and i met Laurie who my mom knows from the lectures at town hall. she’s from brooklyn. laurie i mean not my mom. but wow wouldn’t that be a surprise. [it would actually.]. and some of the ladies bridesmaids from Megan’s wedding like........um.........4, 5 yrs. ago came. ladies talk a lot. i met 2 neighbors nancy and theresa.
so. oh we were all at my aunt joan’s. We had brunch deviled eggs and fruit. and cupcakes. well i got 2 grapes. and i’d already had one and when i came back to the table i couldn’t find the other one. i thought my mom had ate it. my mom found it. it had somehow rolled under the cupcake or something. that is so me. i also thought. untill my sister explained it to me that tyler had been standing out there in front the whole 2 hrs. holding the balloons. and so like i felt bad for him. bu n but no that’s not........what was happening. he tied them to a post. thing.
oh there was a game. a MC question game. like ‘who do you think the baby will look more like?’ and i marked ‘Mom’. that kindof thing.
yeah so on the 3rd. well when i got back from being out. my aunt sue and uncle dave were in my mom’s living rm. which i didn’t expect to see them there. [obviously. that’s what makes it a surprise.]. so we went over dinner plans. well my uncle dave has........um........food, allergies so there are a lot of things he’s not supposed to eat. yeah cantaloupe’s one of them and he was going ‘which irritates the hell out of me cause i love cantaloupe’. yes i would imagine. um anyway. so i know where i. wanted to go but i was being sensitive to his. requirements. anyway we ended up going to the thai place. which is where we’ve always gone w/ my uncle. the one who talks a lot and is getting married. it was nice. it’s a lot less pressure then being around ty [uncle the one who talks a lot] then being around his fiancee.
um so. then the following day. which was the 4th. um. ............ oh so right. that was the ash spreading thing. i had to get up so early.........so early. yeah my mom i were talking about that prior. to it happening and she asks ‘so what time are you gonna get up tom.?’ and i’m ‘so early’ ‘right but how early?’ and it was. so early for me as i’m not a morning person and we were leaving before 8 so. yeah. makes for a really long day when a person gets up that early. so the ashes we spread were those of my grandparents mom’s side. well i thought prior to going there. that we’d all meet be in a circle and whoever wanted to say something could. while the ashes were being spread. right well that’s not what happened. we hiked up 3 hills and went to a spot my grandfather liked and whoever wanted to, spread them. er the ashes. so. um it went well. the one who died back in feb. i hadn’t and still haven’t written a lot about him in here bc. i haven’t wanted to. his wife my grandmother passed 7 yrs. ago this like. july 1st or june 30. 7 that right? i would’ve been.........yeah that’s right i would’ve been 23. and now i’m. well 23 + 7 =...........yeah i’m a woman in the third decade of her life. [holy crap i’m in my third decade now that’s amazing. that is kindof amazing actually.]. um so that was the 4th like i said.
