Kids vs. cops! in A small but passable life.

I did make it to the grocery store on Sunday. I had a list and a fistful of coupons.

Monday we were out early. First stop was the insurance office. Everything was quick and easy. Old car policy cancelled and new car policy started. The bill will come later. On to the dealership. The finance guy wasn’t there yet. I got the walk-thru on the new car. The general manager, whom we had not met yet came out and said, “Looks good to me, let us know if you need anything.” And we drove the car home.

I guess when your credit score is above 800 they tend to respect your credibility.

We drove to the park activity center Tuesday night for Rummikub.

The car now has 21 miles on the odometer.

Thursday it was 115 degrees. The overnight low was 93 degrees. Friday was 112 degrees. So, for the 24 four hour period it was above 93 degrees. A record.

Last night it got down to 91 degrees. Today it was 113 degrees.

It may rain. We’ll see.

Right now, 8:02pm, it is 108 degrees and cloudy.

I’m almost finished with an eye opening non-fiction. Facts I should have known, kind of speculated about, but now confirmed. We’ll talk about it more when I’m finished with the book.

I made a meatloaf for dinner tonight. I took miss Lillie, across the street, a plate. Miss Betty brought some plants over today for me to plant-sit for a week or so.

So yeah, I’ll be sitting here in my chair under the A/C.

Pointing a loaded weapon at kids. Yeah, dumbass cop. Or as the kids say- “Pussy ass motherfucker!”
