Here we are up in north east Montana, marveling in the lushness of the rolling hills. The winter wheat fields are covered with the promise of a bumper crop. The sky is blue-blue-blue with puffy white clouds gathering around the edges. Before evening they will be meeting overhead and changes are good that Mother Nature will put on a fireworks show, as is her habit here this time of year. That may be over before dark, since the sun doesn’t set until way late and the twilight lasts until nearly dawn. So different then in Denver where the “light” goes out as soon as the sun drops behind the Rockies.
We are enjoying being with our daughter, her husband and daughter…and especially our tiny little great-grandson. Tomorrow we will head west a hundred miles or so to see our other granddaughter in her new house. We’ll come back here late afternoon and be here until after the Fourth.
