Odd behavior... in Pet Entries

I had one of those moments when I was sitting having my coffee the other morning, and gazing over the kitchen decided that I no longer liked the cabinet knobs.
There are 60 knobs on all the drawers and doors, and I decided to replace them all with a simple, round satin finish stainless steel. They look very nice, but Miz Delphine, our Bloodhound, has decided that they must be something special.
She is constantly sniffing at them, and on more than one occasion Lady Wife or I have caught her thinking about nibbling on one with her front teeth. They are indestructible from that standpoint, but why the fascination?

Animals are weird. I have a cat who is obsessed with a picture of me and my husband. She gets her nose right up to it and just stares forever. Eventually, she will try to knock it down.

there's no telling why an animal does the things they do. sometimes, i think i'd like it if my dog could actually talk to me. you must have some kind of a big kitchen! take care,

You never can predict what an animal will chew . I caught one of my cats chewing my husband's new phone charger this morning. Nuts !
