I did it! in The Road Ahead

Tuesday marked the end of 25 years of silence. I filed my police report and the Investigative Unit is working on it now. It was really difficult, but totally worth it. My sisters will be making their statements and the woman who gave birth to me will be interviewed by police as well. I’m so happy I finally did something about it. No matter how it ends, I have a newly found sense of peace that has moved into my heart and cleared out some of the dark, shadowed places in my mind. ☺️
