Payment, head gasket blown on car, going to sew again in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

My mom was happy to hear I was paying a $600 on a payment for the mobile home she co owns with me. She wasn’t happy it was a money order. She doesn’t know how to use money orders. I told her take it to the bank they will know what to do. I now owe her $5,400. Mom intends to put the money put it in a money market. She said interest rate is going higher and I helped her savings.

My dad said my car sounded strange that he wanted to look at it. The head gasket has blown. I have had this car 2 years now. I paid $2,500 I think considering the miles I put on it the car has served me well.Dad told me buy a motor for it have a mechanic install it. He asked me how was I going to afford it. I have no idea! I might get a loan to fix it. I am fond of my old car. Maybe with a new motor my gas mileage will improve.

I don’t want a brand new car with really high car payment. I like older vehicles. Parts are cheaper. Cheaper to fix and don’t have to pay full coverage insurance. Who in their right mind would steal a 2001 bravada? I love car shows. I don’t mind working on my car after all it treated me well over the years. My dad and I argue about many things but I always trust him with my cars! He is Mr fix it. Never found a thing he couldn’t fix. I wish I knew how to fix things.

I got my sewing machine from mom and dad’s house. I plan to fix the holes in my pockets and hem some pants for Talan. I love to sew. I think I am going to start making clothes again.

I got to get up early so Talan can drive me to work. After work we are taking my car to a mechanic see how bad it is. I am going to call a junk yard see if they have a motor low mileage. I got to buy a motor on a tiny budget..it is going to get interesting.
