so southerners are really polite people. i was expecting w/ it being the south that um. literally every single person we encountered as we were walking would say ‘hi’ but i’m so glad they didn’t.
oh so i saw a moon pie. at some gift shop. it’s like pie.......but little. well it is pie.
oh so a few hrs. after we went to 417 we went back and got pb pie. i didn’t like it all that much.
so on fri. like i said we walked around downtown nashville for a bit. and literally every other place had music coming from it either karaoke or like. a band my mom’s ‘this is so crazy’ i know that’s what i like about it. is it is crazy. there were also cops. outside like by the doors. that’s actually something that would stop, me from going somewhere ironically enough. this one dude was pretty hammered it was his 21st birthday. apparently he was just out walking telling anyone who would listen. [or even some people who wouldn’t.].
oh so johnny cash and june his 2nd wife valerie june performed at the white house. or they went to the white house anyway.
oh yeah. so when we got to the airport the nashville airport there was a guy there by a bar singing. singing tom petty’s ‘free fallin’. it was so great i liked it. well while in music city. i’d never had that happened before at. an airport.
so our first day we got a discount on the dinner we ate before the show even though. we didn’t know all the details untill the guy told us.
and my mom had a groupon for the johnny cash museum so. which meant we got in for half price. oh also when we picked up the pb pie the lady gave us a discount. since we were staying downtown. so we’re savin money all over the place.
oh we also found money. by a room a few doors down from ours. we turned it into the front desk which. apparently they usually keep it for 90 days. well damnit.
i can’t believe we hiked up that damn hill. which. was maybe 15 ft. high. big damn hill. big dude.
oh yeah so like i said on our 4th day which was also our last place. er our last day i mean. we stopped at this egg diner place. well we’d been sitting and one of the staff there. proceeded to go to the next table and serve them first instead of going to ours. and i’m not sure.........if it’s cause we’re white and she um isn’t or........or maybe that had nothing to do w/ it. she wasn’t mean she was just kindof. impolite and inconsiderate. people do that on the bus too some of them. like they won’t wait for the other person to exit [as ‘getting off’ has me thinking of something else] before getting on. apparently they’ve never been to new york or london. [or evidently d.c. or paris. where they have subways.]. and me whereas w/ me i always check to see if someone’s exiting the bus before getting on.
also. on that note like i don’t expect guys to let me go ahead of them and get on the bus just bc i’m a lady. i’m not that much of a lady. but w/ that said if they want to i’m not sayin no.
oh also. the green bus they have there [in nashville] is free. we have something like that here only. it’s the mall shuttle and so it goes up and down 16th st. [or as i call it ‘downtown’. it’s funny that downtown consists of only one street.].
um what else............
oh yeah so the tn state museum is also apparently part of their performing arts place um complex. so ‘wicked’ was being performed there only. i didn’t think anyone liked it cause no one clapped. well we didn’t hear anyone clap.
so apparently..........no i did but......that’s right. i did write about our first day. that’s the entry pb didn’t save that’s right.
oh yeah so at the elevator 4th floor place. my mom got avacado toast. i had a bit i didn’t like it. and turns out i also don’t like grits. apparently.
