so on our 3rd day. parthenon and 417. in 2017. got it.

right so on our 3rd day which was sat. we ate. at 417 it’s a diner. it’s so cute. and warm. comfortable. i had waffles. um yeah our waiter Mike was warm and friendly and nice. reminded me of my dentist Dr. Brad. who i’ve only met once. uh anyway the food was good.
so then. we went to the parthenon it was cool. nashville is known as the athens of the south for that reason. the parthenon. which. well there’s an athens in georgia [the state] so. um yeah in a room there’s this big statue of athena it’s huge. gold and white and a shield gaurding a snake. and inside another part of the parthenon is a. well there’s history. a lot of people couldn’t afford to travel back in the day to go see festivals. so they brought the festival to the people. it was like a world’s fair type thing. yeah the festival was right in the park the parthenon’s in. i think.
