As a result in other first

Finger is a bit stiff but I can’t blame it. It hasn’t been out of the brace for long.... a shower, posting yesterday, brushing hair, this post. I’m probably going to lie regardless in medical so I can go back to normal work. The brace will be mine to keep so I will wear it again tomorrow. Appointment is at 9:00 this morning. Don’t know what I’ll do till then.... make boxes maybe… should be export 25 and done. I hope.

My computer clock is being dumb this morning.... some kind of conflict has it skipping ahead an hour.... even though it did that for daylight savings. It’s fine… no big deal, manually reset it and move on. It just gave me a mini heart attack thinking I was an hour late.

Rocky wants to go to get a book he’s been waiting for after his appointment in the morning. I told him I’m not sure because we are a little tight and I’m uncomfortable spending what’s in there on a trip for a book. I mean gas, book, likely lunch, after likely breakfast, co-pay for his visit.... on the 50 in the house account NO.... not happening. Jim Butcher is just going to have to wait till next week. Except I can’t say I’ll be off to go with him :(. FML. I hate OT. According to Marco we will have plenty on Thursday.... 2 days later than I would want to have it lol. I’m going to ask Kevin about it this morning .... today sometime. I have no idea why Jerry wouldn’t tell us but night shift knows. You would think with all this OT and people quitting it would be great news to share.... a light in the dark if you will. For those like me who have seen factories do this kinda thing it’s like the light at the end of the tunnel. A tiny dot off in the distance that you aren’t sure what it is but because it’s the only light you walk towards it tripping over your own feet anyways.

Told Rocky once we get it regardless of if that truck is ready we have to look for another vehicle. I’m hopeful that the turn in by date for the lease car will be like May 31st? June 1st.... so that we can take it to MI for the memorial service for my Aunt. That way I don’t have to worry about trust issues for a new car and we can make a midsize trip (probably Scottsboro or something) when there is less OT.
