rant and what Rocky did without me in other first

Rocky was home yesterday. I was having a shitty day at work. They had trial runs for the next model so they ended up “borrowing” the 5 people we had for like 4 hours. We only made 18 pallets in the 12 hours we were there and the day shift supervisor had the nerve to say “I’m sure you guys don’t want to do this for 4 days being as you can’t seen to get the number so I’m going to put you on the lines tomorrow”..... NO NO and NO if me going home early depends on how fast things get done NO. If he hadn’t left us bare for 4 hours.... and 2 people for 2 hours on top of that .... smh

Really though I know it was a reaction to a conversation with Billy that had to have taken place just 10 mins prior when he turned in our paperwork. After lunch Carl is useless. Carl needs to go out to the lines.... even if it only leaves us with one person because Carl is anti productive. He will talk to the only guy who can’t talk and work at the same time.

When we are all at a good pace we can do a pallet in 20 mins. … we did 3 in the last 2 hours........oh he looks like he’s working. Putting caps on modules but not loading them.... making boxes and not putting bags and foam in them.... it’s pretty amazing how someone could look like they are working and do so little.

In the mornings he’s fine.... it’s a slow roll after lunch. Like he takes a chill pill and really shouldn’t. When I got home I was hot and that sucked because Rocky was here and .... and he actually did stuff yesterday. He mowed the lawn, got groceries and made a huge pot of spaghetti for dinner (so that I would have left overs the next few nights and would have a quick dinner). I made sure to thank him first but then off loaded for like an hour before going to bed.

Today, he’s going to get tags for the car and call the last tree service company that was out here for a more detailed quote. I’m going to post on FB community groups for suggested companies and see if we can’t get a couple more. Every time we get quotes it’s half of the previous quote .... so it’s not gonna hurt.
