Hectic Commonwealth Games in Stuff

Bloody exhausted after today at work, sheesh. And we had a crazy lady in first-thing this morning. Turns out she was my store manager’s cousin, but man, talk about a few sandwiches short of a picnic!
He was very nice to her (family, I guess you would) but the rest of us were like, “ummm”. She just kept hassling people, asking weird questions, and then when the store manager finally said goodbye to her, she comes back like five minutes later, walking out INTO OUR STOCKROOM from the shop-floor and screaming out my store manager’s name about 20 times, over and over. Talk about loopy. Then she finally gives up on that so she comes and asks me when he’s coming back. Meanwhile, I’m thinking he’s probably taken off so that you can’t track him down.
Not only that, she drew a picture on a piece of paper which resembled like an alien or something, and handed it to my manager and told him he has to look after it for the rest of his life LOL.
Yuh huh.

And other than that, it’s just been busy as fuck all week. There must be a LOT of people having Commonwealth Games parties or something. I could barely keep up keeping the shelves full. Fucking insane. I mean, my city is 45 minutes drive away from the Gold Coast, but we’re still trading until midnight for the duration of the games. My friend who works in a Gold Coast store said his store is open 24 hours, so I can only imagine what the stores are like down there. You know, so people who are visiting for the games and athletes actually think South East Queensland has great trading hours. Fools! ^evil laugh^

I had a lady ask me something on my way out today and I palmed her off. Nope! Off the clock, cya!
