Congruency. in A small but passable life.

Yesterday I finally pulled the third to the last tooth. It had been wobbling around for a couple of weeks, long enough for me to forget why my tongue was always tired, from bothering with it. I just felt that a proper tug would free it. I’ve always seemed to know when that point arrives. I guess practice helps. Whatever, it is not a bother now.

It didn’t make it to 90 degrees yesterday, only 88. It still made a good day at the pool because it was a little cloudy. Perfect.

I turned the A/C on for the first time yesterday. And again today. But the nights have been spent with the window open. It was 70 degrees in here this morning at 8am.

Miss Lillie from across the street was taken to the hospital yesterday. She is 93 years young. I hope she’s alright. I’m supposed to take her to the airport on the 30th for her flight to Utah.

I’m almost finished with the non-fiction book. The problem with a current events book is that by the time it is printed the contents are old news.

Ecuador. I need to find a book about Ecuador. I’ve read the Wikipedia article. I didn’t see anything about visas. Maybe I’ll just dig around on the interwebs. Maybe the country has a website?

I’ve got a meatloaf in the oven for supper. I didn’t have any mushrooms to put in it this time. Oh well, it will still be good.

Mom still seems like she wants to do the road trip. Five weeks to go. I’ve got a list of preparations to be made. And we have a tentative departure date: May 1st. A five hour drive to San Diego and we’ll be started. And like all my road trips I’ll try to do it all on “blue highways”. I see no hurries ahead.

May 5th, 2016 to May 1st, 2017. 360 days.
May 1st, 2017 to May 1st, 2018. 365 days.

Odd, how that may work out to be some sort of congruency.

Anyway, no pool time today. Maybe tomorrow.
