After last nights storm today has had a feel of spring about it, the aftermath was more mess than disaster, but if you’ve had the water in your home or business; the mess is a disaster. Once more the Watering Hole survives to pull another pint, the second time this year, and it’s only the 2nd of February! We intended to walk on the beach with Lola, one way the bridge was still sitting over the stream, but not over the streams new rout just beyond the bridge! On the second rout the bridge was messy but quite ok, except the path over the dune was now vertical, walking along the side of the stream would have meant mingling with the digger.
It must be quite frustrating for Ziggy and Lola’s trainer, the weekend was rather nice, a feel of spring about it even, today’s class was scuppered by the wet days though the week! The forecast for the coming week could go much the same for next weekend class!

I am glad the storm settled down but apparently these king tides will be around for a few days yet. And you may not know it, but in Dorset there is a lovely pub right down by the seashore at Seatown ( or is it Golden Bay?)..... I have been in it years ago. hugs p

I am so jealous - Spring? We are still in the grip of icy snowy winter and will be until the end of March or if we are unlucky mid April.
