Valentines and Olympics in In the Meadow

We had a good weekend. We went to the park and bookstore. Also, we have been watching some of the Olympics. On Friday we watched the Opening Ceremonies. There was a section about the Russian alphabet that the kids were interested in. Because they are on late here, we have not watched that much. We have seen some of the snowboarding and ski jump. Kayla wants to watch the figure skating. We will watch reruns of it online next week, when the kids have their vacation.

It has been a cold winter so far. It is a shock because the last two winters were so mild. The kids have had several snow days and one two-hour delay. They are going to pass out Valentines on Friday. This is probably the last year Timmy and Kayla will want to do Valentines for their class.

It seems weird not to have OD around anymore. I imagine that I will think about it off and on.
