while they didn't give me. the reason. i knew. *Un. Det. in 2017. got it.

I’ve stated previously that:

and he didn’t say to me. ‘you’re not free to leave due to this’. he didn’t give me the reason. ok so for the future if that ever happens again. i’ll hopefully remember to ask ‘am i free to leave?’. wish i’d known that.’

and while. they didn’t verbally give me, a reason I apparently wasn’t allowed to leave untill the lady got there. I knew. er i think.......

the reason being. they didn’t want me just running off somewhere. well a. the ‘somewhere’ i would’ve gone would’ve been Walgreen’s. and 2. i’ve learned. never, run from the cops. i didn’t. i’m not going to just go run off’ to a random place since i always know the names of places i’m going to. from a literal standpoint that won’t happen.

This situation probably won’t go to court.

1. I don’t want any trouble

and 2. if it were to. again it would be their word against mine due to the ‘am i free to leave thing?’ and my um. lack of knowledge on that.

I remember the Miranda rights. I’ve heard them various times on tv. ‘anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law’.

yes. in a court of law. but what about otherwise? hm......

so. ok. they didn’t enough evidence to arrest me.

oh. so they only apply to being taken into custody. ok.

so. i wasn’t legally required to give anything other then my name, address, dob. hm...........
