When Little L Does the Dishes in Days of My Destiny

When M was 2, she used to help me wash the dishes. She really enjoyed this activity and she concentrated and did a great job. L could've never helped me with the dishes at the age of 2 due to her different personality, M was always a lot more focused than L has ever been, lol. But L is now 3, and finally the other day I decided to see how she goes with it. I find that kids enjoy it mostly because it's water they get to play with.

So I put all the cutlery in the sink. L pulls a teaspoon out and excitedly yells out, "Ohhhh!!! My teddy bear spoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Then she gets out a butter knife. She inspects it closely and with a twisted face she asks, "Um... why is there writing on this knife?" Lol. (It's the brand engraved onto it, of course)

And finally, she pulls out another butter knife. She inspects it closely aswell. She notices a black spot, about the size of a quarter of a five cent piece, and says, "What is this?" I say, "I don't know...... it might be a bit of dried up vegemite." Her immediate reaction? "I want to taste it." So she picks it off the knife and puts it in her mouth, before excitedly telling me that indeed, it is vegemite!

Lol.
