And sometimes the inspiration comes from whom you should trust the most, yet they prove worthy the least..

“Born From Misgiving”

Oh, bittersweet starlight
Are you back for a new bite?
Sparkling with your soft,
Oh so very startling,
Impeccably perfect
Feral blue light

Stain my threaded bedding
As I whisper sad endings
Of all of the past tricksters
Who remain mere blisters,
In the pale of the Autumn
This bloodthirsty night

You are as treacherous
As you are carnivorous
Feasting upon cancerous
Black cherry heartbeats
A signature delight

You are born from misgiving
Pressed in manipulative spinning
A fine solid finish for the sinning
You find deep inside your every
Soul-stealing slight

Some people are just fucking liars.

A special nod to all the astonishingly selfish ones out there.

Cheers.
