The generation gap:

“They’re just little kids,

so young and still stupid.

How could they talk to you like that?

You deserve more respect!

You’ve lived longer

so you know better.”

“Are they trying to control you

by telling you what to do?

It takes more than the digits of their age

to get you to be on the same page

but to them, it’s privilege.

Do what they say or you might get lynched.”

How paranoid are you?

Such serious trust issues.

Either they’re too critical

or greedy with more power.

Can’t we have a decent,

more peaceful discussion

despite you insisting on winning

every argument

often through violence?
