I didn’t want to agree with her. But, I fear we are heading towards the end-times. I’m atheist, so I’m not concerned with religious shit.

Tashy has a point. Our last President was black. And a wonderful one at that.

45 has ruined all that is good in Murica.

What if she is right? That this really are the end-times? That someone will nuke us?

I don’t really believe it. 45 is bringing out the worst in Murica. I trust we are not a racist, xenophobic nation. Yet, some part of this disgusting nation is.

We fought a civil war over this. That Confederate Flag? Oh fucking acknowledge it, your accestors fought to deny anyone but White People to have anything.

Sigh.

I often ponder similar things. All great nations fall eventually and this is just the beginning of the end

2 thoughts:

  1. The 'end times' have been predicted since the crucifixion of Christ (or the person who purported to be Christ).

  2. But if this is indeed, our swan song, we will have done it to ourselves. I do not think any deity would (should one exist) bother snuffing us us out when we can accomplish the same thing. This hypothetical deity might sit back with a box of celestial popcorn and watch the fun.
(I try not to bring politics into the mix - which are, at best, ephemeral).

I think the present we live in now, is a small part of the downfall. There's more to come and its bound to get worse... It's probably not so good to be this pessimistic in regards to the country that I live in, but still I feel like not getting my hopes up is necessary to keeping me sane when more shitty things are bound to keep happening.

I had this same thought before he became President. Just by watching Christians support Trump as if he were a Godly man. I pretty much figutred if the antichrist is real, it may be Trump.

But..... a lot of people thought that about Obama too. so...
