Perusing. in A small but passable life.

The plan turned to reality yesterday. After lunch I packed up and headed to the pool. It was so nice and warm that between naps I was only able to read the forward and twenty-five pages of the preface of the new book. I only stayed for a few hours.

Back home I got online and saw that back in the Ozark’s is was 24 degrees. I sent a text message to Daughter- “It is 77 degrees. I just got back from the pool. I love you!”

I still haven’t received a reply.

I’m pretty sure today won’t be too different than yesterday. It is predicted to be nearly as warm as yesterday was. We’ll see. I can read here sitting in my chair as well as at the poolside.

I’ve been perusing Scamp travel trailers on the interwebs. The 13 foot model in particular. I’m liking what I’ve been seeing and reading. After living in a van for more than five years I know what I missed. And what I truly had no need for. And in all truth it would probably be more comfortable than where I’m sleeping and sitting right now.

Buy one brand new, built to my personal specifications, with nothing extraneous included. Bed, stove, frig, furnace, sink and roof vent. I’d add a solar panel to the roof. I’d buy a Yeti 1000 for additional power generation and power storage. I’d keep paring down possessions until everything fit fine. I’d hitch it to whatever vehicle I have and follow the nice weather. Make it a life’s mission to remain in mid-seventy degree weather, year round. Sounds like a plan?

Anyway, in the meantime I’ll sit right here for a bit.
