omg I worked my freakin’ ass off moving boxes and other crap around. Pam would be proud of me, though I packed that van up TIGHT, and still had room for the table!
Tomorrow after working the B&B I have to go back to To the house I just packed up and at least clean the floors. And try to talk the client into moving some of the boxes back to the storage shed instead of putting them back. Keep your fingers crossed that I can convince him to do it.
Ibuprofen and muscle relaxer on board. Coffee sitting on the coaster. I hope I don’t hurt too much after relaxing for a bit.
I have to remind myself that I’ve hit middle age. I’m not young anymore regardless of what my brain tells me. I tend to forget my body is broken. I just want to help people get things done. My client is 78. There is no way he could have done this.
I flip between thinking I can do it all, and thinking I can’t do a thing. I’m always pushing myself to do more and more. But, I’m the only person they have. Lord knows the family doesn’t give a hoot. And my other clients… well, one is just plain lazy, the other does what she can, but she’s up there in years, One has some pretty bad health issues herself. I need to keep these clients happy so I don’t lose them. I push through and go home and cry. It’s the only way I know how.
