yes, call it a comeback in poetry

the day after the day reincarnation was proven true
and they developed the machines that could tell you
who you were when you were in the last life and
the one before that and again and again
that was the day the lawsuits started
and babies started getting sued for
the car crashes they’d died in but
crippled some other guy and now he’s
taking that baby to court for the doctor’s bills
that was the day things started to get
really really interesting
