I'm oblivious to consequence

Do we even care who knows?

Keeping you a secret to myself

I'm afraid it's gonna show

Doesn't it bother you

the difference in our years?

How you pretend, to your friends

(I'm sure they find it weird!)

You keep tryin' to remind me

It's not that big a deal

I need to just relax and say

'We go with what we feel"

I'm supposed to be the one

With seething confidence

But self assured people

don't linger on the fence.

For now I fall into your arms

and whisper in your ear

The bond we have between us both

is stronger than the fear
