So… what with my bosses being who they are… I now have to account for my billing by “exact schedule”. Which means instead of saying “Drafted Contract: 0.6 hours” I have to write “8:00-8:06… checked e-mail. 0.0 hours. 8:06-8:12… brewed coffee for office. 0.0 hours. 8:12-8:18… Reviewed Electronic Data System..” etcetera.

So… yeah. Between that and the Chinese Bullshit of earlier this week? I’m even more disappointed that I haven’t received a single phone call on my applications. If they fire me before the end of the year… that could make for a very difficult Christmas at my house. Of course… I want to get out of here. MORE than ever now. But I also have responsibilities to my family that I don’t want to simply flake on.

Though… here is another great example why we should follow White Boss instead of Chinese Boss. White Boss knows the law and knows how things work. Chinese Boss doesn’t. There are a billion examples. For instance, Chinese Boss was going to accept an Appeal Case just because the client was Chinese. White Boss looked it over and said, “There is no issue on appeal. This is going to get thrown out.” Chinese Boss said, “We don’t have to win every case. But we need to be there for the Chinese Community.” No. No. You don’t take every case because “Chinese.” You have to be smart about what cases your firm is attached to. Damn it.

QUICK QUESTION for those of you that deal in Insurance (different case).
A pedestrian gets hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian files a claim with Pedestrian’s Auto Insurance. Pedestrian’s Auto Insurance says, “Your car wasn’t involved. We aren’t your health insurance. Claim denied.” BUT the Pedestrian was Chinese. So… Chinese Boss took the case to “investigate why the insurance company didn’t honor the claim.”

FURTHER EXAMPLE OF CRAZY: So you know how Chinese Boss can’t be faulted for anything. And if she fucks up, she has to punish everyone around her because it is everyone else’s fault? I found out why she was such a bitch yesterday. She forgot about a meeting she was supposed to have with Investors. Just… forgot. But she can’t be at fault nor held responsible. So… everyone else had to pay! It makes me worry, actually. Because Chinese Boss is never in the office before 9:00. At 8:30, a client of hers showed up saying he was there for their 8:50 appointment. The earliest thing on her calendar is 9:15. I’m guessing today is going to be another fun “Everyone Pays!” Day.

So… yeah. I’m even more disappointed that I haven’t received a single phone call on my applications.
