NJM 7 (Opposite Day) in 2017

1. Write about how 24 hours of your life using opposites. For example, if you’re a female, write about that day as a male.

Today we were all up with the first alarm. Within minutes, the kids were up and dressed and eating breakfast. I was able to start sipping on my first coffee before my husband was even out the door for work! Miraculously, there was no whining from my first grader and she was out the door before the bus even arrived.

Orion had a nutritious snack of carrots and hummus while I did a quick clean of the first floor. We built a smart wheels track (likely the only truth in this story) and he played while I took a bath, shaved my legs, and sipped on a pinot noir while watching Long Island Medium.

Lunch was spinach and cheese pita pockets. Grandma came over (okay, truth #2) and ran around outside with Orion while I took a nap. (ha!) Now the kids are out with Grandma who I know will bring them home on time. Homework is done and lunch is made for another fun day tomorrow!
