Ugh, the winter blaaahs are already striking. I so badly want to hibernate.

I have to renew my veterinary license for the first time in February. That makes me feel adulty. Though, really, I mostly feel like I’m playing an adult and no one has caught on yet :P

I have a case I have to talk to a specialist about at some point in the near future. That’s next week’s task. Talking to specialists makes me feel even more like a kid dressing up as a doctor.

Genevieve is on vacation and I’m jealous. I’m not sure how much vacation time I accrue the longer I’m at my job but I’m hoping it will continue to increase so I feel like I have enough time to actually take a for realsies vacation without using my entire year’s worth of time off.

Aaron’s grad school experience seems very different from mine. He’s in class a lot less than I was. He has a lot more assignments than I did but I was pretty much always studying for tests. It’s definitely reinforcing my utter relief at no longer being in school. I’m still traumatized :P

I’m making house-made sausages from a local Eastern European deli (Kramarczuk’s). Would definitely recommend if you’re every in Minneapolis. The wonderful smell of the deli alone is worth the visit but there are some damn fine eats there. Delicious :)

Harvey is licking the bottom of my foot. Aren’t dogs grand? :P
