A Shark Shaped Kite and a Lack of Ambition in Everyday Ramblings

I took this yesterday afternoon but right now I am sitting stretched out on a love seat looking out the big windows of our modest rental at the same scene. You’d have to be from around here to notice something extraordinary about this picture.

The sun is shining! In all the years I have been coming here for these little getaways never ever have I woken up here and discovered it was clear. There were so many stars this morning I couldn’t make out the constellations. What an unexpected joy that was.

Now this afternoon Most Honorable is out riding his bike on some of the local lesser-traveled roads and Kes is napping. I went out walking just at sunrise on a mostly deserted beach and then a couple hours ago on a beach full of surfers and families and big dogs.

I slept almost 9.5 hours last night. It is going to take me the whole rest of the weekend to replenish my energy stores. I could not wait to log out from work on Thursday. I was babbling almost incoherently at Saint Joe.

I am a person presently with zero ambition.

Just wanted to check in and share the view.
