Challenged to fight at work, late but cat woke me in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

At work a girl name Megan has been bullying me telling me i dont know how to do my job. I was told by my boss guard the door. Megan demanded me guard the bathroom. I told her i got to see the main entrance i cant be in 2 places at the same time. She got inches from my face demanding to know if i got an attitude. She was challenging me to fight kids around me at the school stared wondering if i was going to beat Megan in front of them. I told Megan she isnt my boss Little John is. I decided it wasnt worth it i put up my radio and my keys i almost quit then it hit me. Why am i being stupid? I get paid $9.50 an hour fulltime job as a guard i decided i will resolve it another way. I like this job. Megan isnt getting rid of me this easily.

I text Little John my boss. I explained her bullying and snide comments. I told him i will not accept her attitude i give respect to my peers expect nothing else in return but respect from them. I told him either resolve the issues or i will clock out and fix Megans attitude off the property. I told him want to get fire me, transfer me or keep me fine but her attitude is over.

Little John said i have higher rank in the company than her. I been here a short time.That she has been unprofessional to several officers and higher ranking members of security. I offered to take a transfer for him to inform me this is my home. He said i am dependable and respectful anyone leaves its her.

He sat us down. He asked if there was a problem she pretended like she didnt know what he was talking about. I wanted to slap her hard. I told her challenging me infront of the students was unbecoming of an officer i will not accept it. I told her she doesn’t have enough rank to tell me what to do. I went to our Sergeant to resolve the issue.

He calmed me down. He informed her she cannot keep bullying the guards. He told her either straighten out or she will be transferred or fired. He told her she cannot manipulate the bosses to get her out of doing her jobs. Apparently i am not the only one who stated a concern on her behavior. She turned blood red staring me down as Little John corrected her. Little John told Megan the problems she created was her own problem quit blaming me.

Little John and us other guards had to convince the other student not to jump Megan. Several students saw her challenging me and wanted to knock her out. A student asked me for permission at attack her the same day because she got rude with him. I informed her we are paid to guard the students and staff they are our number one priority get over her attitude. She was furious.

I told Little John i like it with this company. I like all my fellow workers but Megan. He said he will make sure she stays on the top floor by herself since she cant behave. He admitted he still trying to decide what to do with her.

I told the other guards Megan behavior and they are unpleased. They told me they are glad i talked to little john instead of just quitting. I am glad too. I like having a full time job. I like having a boss who is kind and understanding. I try very hard to make him happy because he is kind to his staff.

Yesterday morning i slept through my alarms i woke up to my cat Ziggy slapping me. He is trained if i am not up by 6 he makes me. I woke up realized with my 45 minute drive to work i was going to be late for bus duty. I hated myself for not waking most the time i drive in early. I text little john told him i would be late.

I was 15 minutes late. I appologized to the school i was doing bus duty for. They laughed when i said Ziggy slapped me awake this morning. Thank God for that cat.

I hope my boss Little John isnt upset with me for reporting Megan’s behavior. Evetyone else i work with gets along and are good people. I like it there. I hope i can stay years to come.
