Wednesday with light frost in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Brrrrr. We received a light frost down here in the valley this morning. Not cold enough to kill off much but with the wind and just breeze now, I’m cold. I will stay mostly cold until summer.
Cleaned out my deep freeze this morning. Will pick up beef this afternoon/evening. It is ready two days before I was told it would be, but I’m ready now....well the freezer is ready.
It is a beautiful day out since the sun made is bright and shining appearance. Too windy to burn, rake leaves, or mow so won’t.
Going to leave in a few minutes to take my sister a Sweatshirt that I made her for her birthday. I didn’t have the confidence I could come up with a phrase to heat press on it that she would want so I just asked her. She messaged it to me after some searching, and no, that is not what I would have come up with for the sweatshirt.
Went the 35 miles one way yesterday to visit my dad at the Nursing Home. He is still confused and doesn’t make sense sometimes. He imagines things and a lot of them involve guns, someone getting shot, jail, being kidnapped, etc. It bothers me a lot to hear him talking this way and actually believing these things have happened. Thankfully he still knows who everyone is and shares those stories with anyone who will listen.
Cross posting has regenerated itself once again.
