twice doth the blade fall ‘pon your head
once naming you “sir” twice leaving you dead
once pulling you up twice cutting the thread
once for a fanbase and twice to displace
once to exalt and twice to deface
once for defense and twice for flame
once for fame and twice for blame
once building you up twice to fill you with lead
oh, twice doth the blade fall ‘pon your head
but the bastards will tell you how lucky you were
how you lived out the dream they wanted instead
how diff’rent it feels with blade over head
