Weekend! in A New Journey

WOW this week has gone by fast for me. TGIF!! Kids did great on their first week of school so they all said this morning they need to recover this weekend and get ready for next week. SO no major plans this weekend which is fine with me. I need to recover too. I have been fixing up my apt, and bought me a new recliner chair for 200 from Buy Sell Trade in Casper on FB, This lady had a 2 year old recliner that is a remote control kind and it also stands up when you can’t get up. Well I totally had to grab it although I truly don’t need the deal to pull me up but it was in such great shape and for 200 so I got it. I so love it. Perfect color as it matches my apt as well, Its beige color. Rocket and I went to garage sales last weekend and found 2 other chairs, one for his bedroom as he said this chair he got is way better then the one we had in Texas, I am so happy for him. OUR next project is to get beds for us. As Rocket is sleeping on a 3 inch foam and I am on a air mattress as I have been sleeping on it since I sold my 2400 hundred dollar bed. OH I surely miss it but glad I didn’t bring it cuz the frame is FREAKIN heavy!! SO its all good. We will find something good some day soon, NO RUSH for us.
I want us to find the right beds for us when we can!
I am excited to share that Boat has decided to come and visit me at the end of September and then in October we will make plans to meet in Denver to meet my family as I will be there down there in October as I had to make an appointment with my Cochlear Implant Audiologist in Denver as WYOMING has NO cochlear implant offices. WOW Wyoming is really something!!
Well I am just going to kick back all weekend as Cat has to work and grands dad wants to spend the weekend with them. I got one good news from him, HE is asking for a transfer to South Dakota or Colorado Springs as he wants to get out of here ASAP! I am so happy to hear he will be leaving Casper for good some day. BUT we have been getting along for now, but when he has his bad days, I do remind him that he can’t go on punishing the kids for his mess up. HE can be a total ass but I know how to play him and make him think I am not the B****!!
Rocket is really liking his brand new school and he did sign up for weight lifting classes and its been hard on him this week but he has goals to loose 40 lbs by the end of the year and build up muscles. SO I hope this goal will succeed.
OH I must say this. I am sure some of you remember me mentioning of my Step son’s murder in Alb, New Mexico last November, Well the kid who killed him, he a trial this week and he was finally found GUILTY.
