Protect in meh...

I watch a lot of television.
I watch a lot of movies and shows.
I’ve watched my own life and have come to think about the word protect.

Protect is a great motivator for some pretty fucked up shit even with all the best intentions. The fall out from trying to protect someone can do more harm than good.

“I was only trying to protect you.” “My methods are less than desirable, but it’s for your own protection.”

Sometimes, things just need to happen protection be damned.
