I couldn’t wait until this morning to finish the last third of the novel. I shut down all electronics and read it to the end last night. “Camino Island” by John Grisham. It is so popular it has a special seven day only checkout with no renewals on it. I’ll return it tomorrow.

This morning I started a new novel and the rest of the day went as all the days should go. Mom left to play with her friends at 6pm. I packed up and went to the pool at 6:30pm. The sun drops behind the building at 6:45pm. I usually do twenty minutes of laps in the pool, fifteen minutes in the hot tub, and then another twenty minutes of laps in the pool. A shave and shower and then I’m usually sweating by the time I get back home.

Tonight is Game of Thrones. It’s the only series I’m watching currently.

The new frig should be delivered sometime tomorrow.

Now that Mom has all her debts paid down and everything else bought and paid for she is starting to cast around for something to spend her extra cash on. I’m trying to steer her towards travel. San Diego, Durango, and wherever else she or I have never been. We’ll see.

As much as I’ve traveled, my family has all traveled much more.
