Our house officially went up for sale yesterday. I mean...she hammered the sign in my front yard at 11am.
We received a call today, an appointment this evening between four and five....and another one tomorrow between one and two tomorrow afternoon.
Poor hubby! He really does have a difficult time with change. He has been dragging his heels on going to talk with his credit union, and chastising me for the amount of time I spend house hunting on the Internet.
Today was a reality check for him. For us all, actually.
We had no idea things would be moving so fat. After all, back when we sold our house in the subdivision so many years ago, it took a few weeks before we got our first appointment, and 9 months before it sold....back in 2002.

When we sold our house last year, they never even got around to putting the sign up in the yard. We had a parade of viewings the day after we listed on the MLS. Ended up with three solid offers immediately and actually ended up getting more than the listing price. It was crazy fast! I was shocked but really happy to just get through it quickly.

No, we went with new construction and there were delays. We ended up spending a couple of months in cramped quarters at my dad's house. If I had it to do over again, I probably would have rented in the interim. While I like our current home, I think we rushed into it because we wanted something lined up.
