I kind of touched on something in the survey I posted that I wanted to expand on… I can’t listen to most music anymore. If we’re friends on Facebook, you’ll notice I’ve posted a lot of music but everything I’ve posted is from memory and not something I’ve actually listened to recently. That’s because I’ve been listening mostly to movie scores and classical music.

I’ve always listened to them, but for some reason, words are not what I want right now. So I’m going to post some of what I’ve been listening to.

Hans Zimmer, Definitely Unexpected from The Holiday.

Dance Macabre composed by Camille Saint-Saëns

Adagio Sostenuto From Piano Sonata No. 14 in C Sharp Minor, Op. 27 no. 2 “Moonlight” (Moonlight Sonata) composed by Beethoven

Danny Elfman, Birth of a Penguin (Part 2) from Batman Returns.

Gabriel Yared, Forever and Always from The Next Best Thing.

Edin Karamazov, Fantasy from “Songs from the Labyrinth” (Duet album with Sting)

Cliff Eidelman, Overturn from Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country.

Groove Armada, Sex & the City Theme from Sex & The City.

Yo-Yo Ma, Cello Suite #1 (Prelude) composed by Bach.

John Barry, Main Theme from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Frank Glazer, Trois Gymnopédies: Gymnopédie 1 - Lent et Douloureux composed by Erik Satie.

Michael Kamen, Main Theme from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Maybe something on here will help hold your head together like these hold mine.
