We are in the middle of the journey in Soul Journey

Katie is finally allowed to get out of her wheel chair, she is now on a walking frame. Still not allowed to weight bare. So for the next 4 weeks she will slowly strengthen her hips and legs. What a journey it is. Then it will be crutches until she is confident enough to stand alone.
She has been so brave. Amanda has been just amazing the way she has dealt with all that has been going on with Katie. But we are nearly there. As my darling Dad would say. We are not in ‘straight yet’, but we are rounding the bend.

I like that turn of phrase. I may adopt it as I am spending a lot of time at the local track. :) What a (challenging) joy it must be for her to be up on those crutches.
