Cross-Cultural Question in Book Four: Ichi-no-Tani 2017

A few years ago; it became public knowledge that Australia banned Pornography featuring women with breasts smaller than a C cup. The reasoning behind this was, officially, that pornographic material depicting woman with smaller chest sizes encouraged pedophilia. Obviously debatable; but the takeaway was that Australian Government felt that pedophilia was a significant enough concern to do what they could to stop pornography that might encourage those proclivities.

Just discovered… Legoland Melbourne will not allow Men over the age of 17 into Legoland if unaccompanied by a child. It is to the point where some men have filed Civil Rights Arguments with the courts in Victoria.
Legoland has stated that such an action is being done to protect the children that attend Legoland. And that there are Adults Only Events in order to allow Lego-loving adults access to the park.

But what strikes me… going this far to prevent men from “having access to children”… I have to wonder
(1) Is pedophilia really this much of a problem in Australia? Because… what I’ve listed above… makes it seem like Men in Australia love them some little children
(2) Is the government/private sector trying to score “easy PR points?” Because… there aren’t many people who would see “tough on pedophilia” as a bad thing
(3) Is there a long history in Australia of pedophilia so that, despite whether the concern is present tense, there is a historical necessity approach?

Or is this all… just crazy and out of left field?

Cuz… I have to admit. Banning “small breasted porn” seemed like a stupid way to stop pedophilia stuff. There are women between the ages of 18 and 110 that have all different sized breasts. And there are women between the ages of 12 and 17 that have C breasts or larger. So… seemed silly.
But added to the Legoland Man Ban? Really just… makes me wonder if there is an issue.
