Matter of fact, the customer is for the most part wrong wrong wrong as two left shoes and I need some of the bosses to man up.
There was an incident at work where a man called in and asked to speak to someone in the administrative offices. Now that let’s me know he doesn’t know our organization well. So I ask what the gist of it is so that I can get him to the right person. He started out belligerent and didn’t want to help me to help him. So with all his flustered talk, which he did to himself ::insert eye roll here:: he asked to be connected to the Director’s Office. So I did KNOWING he wouldn’t talk to anyone. That’s my payback. So he calls back looking for someone in charge. I keep trying to find out what he wants so that I can transfer him to someone that can help him out. “There’s got to be someone available or are they all out for Holy Week.” No. So I send him to Executive VP’s right hand. She sent him to KO who should have been the original recipient, but since this jerk didn’t tell me what he wanted he got the effin run around.
In the meantime, I get a call from KO. She asked me, “Did you talk to that guy??” And we had our conversation about him. He called while I was on the phone with her. The message he left said, “I was sent to a problem resolver and I don’t want a problem resolver I want…” whoever he asked for. That is protocol. When you jump off protocol, you get problems you don’t want.
So KO contacted my former supervisor/friend who was briefly briefed on the situation. And as usual, she threw me under the bus to appease him. I don’t agree with that. She told me later, that she told him that I wasn’t equipped to answer certain questions and that pissed me off. I could have very well handled him, but the fact that the way I could have handled him was above my pay grade and his feelings would most definitely be hurt behind what I had to say, I think I’m equipped. That is the one thing that I cannot and could not stand about her as a boss. In order to appease someone that is hella, HELLA wrong she throws me under the bus. As a boss, you know your people or you are at least SUPPOSE to know your people. I would NEVER throw anyone under the bus unless the person who is pissed off is bankrolling some shit. This muthafuka wasn’t even a member and is not even a sponsor on ANY level. I wouldn’t do that to anyone working under me or working with me. Not on purpose but you get my drift.
This was triggered by this other asshat that called me today. I think he was trying to take advantage of someone and got shafted in the process which I say that’s what the eff he gets. LOL At the end of the conversation I asked him well can’t you just pay your own admission?? It was a conversation that reminded me of when my kids father was trying to bilk me out of some money. He had gotten married and he was behind in child support. He apparently had another child support order out at the time in addition to mine (because he’s got 4 or 5 kids including my two). So he called me around tax time, because their taxes got snatched, and said that I was supposed to receive some money because of taxes they took from him and I was really only supposed to get so much of it and when I get it then I need to get him the money that he was owed. And he did all of this word spinning and the end result was me asking him, “Then why don’t they just cut separate checks?” Yeah. Guess who didn’t have a valid answer for that one?? ::smh:: That’s why this situation doesn’t sound right to me. Then he tried to make me feel bad by saying he was disappointed in our policy. Maaaaaan, get the eff outta here with that shiz…
These people have caught me on the wrong two weeks. LOL
Y’all take care now.
Kindest regards,
Sister
