Peanut butter in I do exist

I haven’t written in years and years....I can’t believe that I am writing today with this topic :)
But I need a question answered: no German supermarket (I been in 12 different ones!!!) stocks American peanut butter anymore or other peanut butter for that matter!!!! WHY?????
What has happened to all the peanut butter supply??
Can any of my British readers, if I have any, let me know if Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda & Co still have peanut butter on their shelf?

They did last time I checked! Not American brands though as far as I’m aware.

They have an American Festival in Lidl, there was a huge full shelf of peanut butter last week on Friday, crunchy or creamy for €1,45. I know they don't have any in Rewe, but I can usually find some in Bio-Basic. and like I said, they have the American festival in Lidl- I even bought peanut butter cups!

this topic, btw, cracks me up in the Frankfurt expats page!! It has been a gush deal, but I always find some (luckily bc Valentina only eats her peanut butter/jelly sandwich for Kita!) I am so dense, have I missed the fact u are in Germany this long or am I just having a little black home moment now? Whereabouts are you at?

they always have American Peanut Butter, and u can order online. Bought me some Skippy about a month ago bc the Expat page freaked me out bc of the whole peanut butter shortage 2019!!

I don’t know about American peanut butter, but I buy this one from all the major supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Morrison’s etc): https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/263926798. It also comes in smooth, and other nut flavours, and organic.
