Look, I am a child of the internet age.
Look, my browser has four tabs each a different page.
Look, I can walk and chew gum at the same time.
Look, I can easily multitask and even make it rhyme.
I am perfectly capable of lighting a candle
AND cursing the darkness simultaneously.
I can at once bring in the noise and the funk
as simple as it can be.
I can spark whole rows of candles
with a lighter in each hand
I can do it ambidextrous
while also swearing up a blue streak
at the world’s heartlessness, you understand.
Whoever said you had to choose
that cussing out the darkness meant
the candles you had to lose?
I can do both.
You can do both.
Let’s do both together.
