Payday... (with Pics) in Friends With the Benedicts

I don’t even think we can help ourselves. LOL. We just got our money on the 3rd, and yes, we DID need some stuff, but anyway… we have already bought like, 5 things on Amazon and eBay. One, omg I am sooo excited for this and my Mom is gonna be so jelly. She loves retro looking stuff. When we moved in with my Mom and stepdad back in 2010 to help out with their money sitch, we also bought a small mini fridge to keep in our room at their house. It was only $20 off Craigslist, and it is from the 80’s, ya know, that brown tint that everything appliance related was back then? LOL. We love it, but it is broken now and in order to even keep the door closed, you have to wedge something under it. Well, since we have grown accustomed to having it, (the kitchen fridge is seriously far, our trailer is huge, and we are both disabled so it really IS a necessity! Promise… lol) we wanted to replace it. The ones they actually carry at Walmart are like $80 and that is way too much for one way too big. So, I did some research tonite and it seems they sell these portable mini fridge “coolers” that hold just drinks, like 6 of em. It is PERFECT! And omg the colors they come in! Red, yes, but look at this blue one we got!!

Hmm I hope that pic works. Isn’t it sooo cute tho? It wasn’t even a fraction of what they wanted at Walmart for the bigger one we didn’t need! Score! So then, ya know how my cell is toast? Well, I found the exact same one on eBay, but white! And not only that, but it is already on the Sprint network, which is exactly what I need. :) I got it for an amazing price, and the only thing wrong with it was it needed a new battery. So I grabbed up a couple of those bad boys (because it was a good deal to buy two and batteries only last so long) and even with that thrown in, I still didn’t even go over my $50 budget! Here, look at him! So purty:

:) I can’t wait to have a phone again. Once it gets here, I hope it isn’t too much of a pain to get it all set up again with my number n shit. Never had to replace a phone before. Yea I know, I’m lucky. I didn’t say I never had, I just said I never have had to. LOL. And those other phones were with Straighttalk, easy peasy, just buy a prepaid card. Anywhooore.

After we got done with the stuff we actually needed, including some stuff from my ecigs site I didn’t mention, I ordered a few guilty pleasure items, including this gooorgeous leather bound blank book for my writing pleasure:

Isn’t it puuurty? Laura has this thing about books, since she used to do bookmaking in High School, and she said she cannot wait to fondle it! LOL. I must admit I can’t wait to get my hands on it as well. It was not that expensive either, less than $10. :) Then, I had decided that I wanted to re-read the diary of Anne Frank, and since Laura had never read it, I am gonna read it out loud to her. She hates reading, and it frustrates her so she just doesn’t do it unless she will learn something. I know, such a nerd. I heart her. Anyway, I have read her stuff before, including The Bronze Horseman, and it is much easier if she can follow along with a copy. So, I got us two copies of Anne Frank. :) They were a mere penny, with shipping extra of course, so it didn’t make or break us. So yea, we didn’t go crazy, but I am sure as hell looking forward to getting all these treasures! It’s the little things, as usual. lol. We are planning to get some lottery tickets this month too. Drawings, not scratch. Well, maybe a couple of scratch, but I have been reading up on the best way to choose your numbers, etc. I know there is no secret to winning or anything, but we haven’t played much and I wanted to know some smart ways to choose numbers, etc. I did find some info, and can’t wait to try it out! If yall suddenly don’t hear from me for a while, you know what happened! LMAO. Yea right, like I could win the lottery and NOT come to my friends at PB to share the news! And, who knows, maybe to share period! My wife is determined to give back if we win. She is very interested, of course, in giving toward MS research and whatnot. And animals of course. I said that’s fine, but we must make sure we donate locally so we can actually see the money put to good use. Like our local animal shelter. If only they had the funds, they could become No-kill. Anyway… that’s all the stuff that is good about recently… now imma bitch for juuust a little bit.

So, remember me saying that I had to wait 21 days post surgery to get started on my hormones because of the risk of blood clots? Yea, well, trust me, that’s what Dr. Allison told me, and my Mom, as well as I said it in subsequent visits and was not told any different. In one visit, I believe I said something like, “I don’t think I’m gonna have a problem waiting the 21 days since I am handling it so well.” At that time, if it was indeed not 21 days, don’t you think that would have been the perfect time for her to speak up and say, well, actually.... But NO. She never did. So I called, since it has been 21 days, to see what I had to do to get the hormones I so desperately need. I was told nope, not 21 days, but SIX WEEKS. I am LIVID. I mean, I will live, but that is soooo not right! I need those now! And she SAID 21 days. That really pisses me off. I hate this saying, but it really IS the principal of it. I just, grrr.. I didn’t want to not like her! But alas, I do. Not like her that is. LOL. Anyway, I’m not gonna bitch anymore because I have wasted two too many days of my life being angry about something I have no control over. And Like I said, I will live. BUT STILL. I know many will understand.

I have a big appt. with my Neurologist, the actual Doctor, (I usually see assistants lol) on Monday. I think it is like, only the 3rd or fourth time I have seen him since I started going there in 2013. LOL. He is THE MAN. lol. His name is Dr. Bear. Isn’t that cute? And he totally does not look like his name makes you see him in your head. Lemme see if I can find a pic:

See what I mean? Not the best pic, but yea, he is young, slender, tall-sh, and just not a “Bear”. LOL! Anywhoo… I shall go now and see what all you beautiful peeps have been up to. Love you all....
