Death in the Family in Generally Speaking...

Is it me, or does the loss of OD feel like a death in the family? I mean, I have made some of the most amazing friends there. My facebook allows me to keep in touch with them, but there's nothing quite like writing and noting. And I haven't felt like doing it there in a while. So much so that it's hard to do it here. But, it's a new year, and I feel like I'm becoming a new person this year, so why the hell not?

Currently, Will and I are quitting smoking. That's 20 years for each of us, and the tobacco industry can now suck it with the loss of our $4,000.00 per year. We are using electric cigarettes, which is called vaping, and we are LOVING it. So many new experiences there...it's surreal. It's all about finding out your device, your flavor. So different to have something to focus on while my body forgets about smoking. I don't miss it one iota.

Tomorrow is the Superbowl. I have no dog in that fight, so on behalf of one of my friends...Go Seahawks!
