This week has delved four nice days, Monday started cold but at mid morning things were warming up, from there each day seemed to warmed a little and coats were cast off, and next the flees-jackets; we stopped at our jumpers – beyond that it was not natural in February!
Our forecasts for Friday and the weekend are a little degrees lower with clouds but no rain, I’m hopping we get a few unexpected Spring’ish days; after all March is just 13 days off; yes I’m throwing salt over my shoulder – lucky there was no one behind me ….
What should you do when a threaten comes up, there must be so old folk remade; perhaps an old folk!
Over five nights from Sunday to Thursday I had a pleasant hour, in that hour before my Daughter got home I had the television to my own self, and each hour was filled with one of five episodes of ‘Parade’s End’
Every one knows Benedict Cumberbatch, and Rebecca Hill is all know, I remember her at a age of ten playing young Sophie in the BBC series’ of ‘The Camomile Lawn’ in 1992, they are two of the leads the third is Adelaide Clemens.
She is an Australian actor, I read some she travelled to the UK to cast for the part of Valentine Wannop, arriving for the casting in the clothing of the setting of the story, 1910 to 1918.
The leads were wonderful, and the cast in depth were great in their parts
For telling a story I think a television series is wonderful, and the BBC is superb at series, there is time to tell the story in full. The old films that come to my mind are the ‘Hobbit’ films ‘The Lord of the Rings’ films and the Harry Potter series of films.
I think I shall look up ‘The Camomile Lawn’ series on DVD, my birthday is getting close ….
