Food52 A New way to dinner in Second 1st

I want this book and I have no real idea why. In it you have lists for groceries and whole weeks planned out of food for 4. You are instructed on how to minimize your kitchen time in order to spend only x time in the kitchen all week. Storage instructions are given so if you cook stuff on Sunday they will still be good on Saturday.

When I was younger my mother referred to these meal… this type of cooking as plan overs.... half leftover (because you cook it ahead of time) and half a planned meal (omg don’t eat that!). I’m not sure it would work out for me and Rocky though there are directions for scaling it down for smaller families. I’m not ready to pay 15.00+ for it though…

I’m doing an okay job on my own. “Mexican rice” today, left over taco stuffs stirred into rice. lol he likes it, and that’s all that matters.
