Monday was not the 12th day or the 12th night, but Ron, Richard and I were there as usual on a Monday morning, as they’re no service next Sunday; the Christmas flowers would not last all that time.
Ron and Richard set about the tree, it’s an artificial tree and they have up the tree up and down over years, I was up to remove the flowers from the Star, there were a large number of flowers; greenery plus some reusable decorating items.
The holy was put in place on the 10th of December, it was rather sharp then but now in January second and the Holy drying out the points are sharper; none of use were keen to push the holy down into the bag.
To day my Daughter covered to do some shopping for me in Tesco’s, she was in Truro and had some to time to spend. Among the list was for two lemons, I have not had my Whisky drink for a few nights, I had Whisky, ice and Canada Ginger Ale but no lemon; it’s a drink that makes my Whisky last – and I’m from Shropshire ………..
This one was looking over my shoulger while I was eating
If I’m writing a shopping list for my Daughter or Son I like to write it right, some times it is simple words that slip through miss spelt, so I turned to S Y Rup, Peter and I like porridge some mornings, but when we run low of syrup I look into the cubage for the syrup jar, between kitchen and my bedroom a letter falls out of syrup to syrop or even surep; but Mr S Y Rup gets me there!
Racing in to 2017.
It’s frustrating when you know it wrong, some of my problem I think is pronouncing words, and that can put me off from a right spelling: it’s a bit late now I think ………!!
