Anyone for tennis? in blackpropaganda

I wonder how many people have been following the tennis at Wimbledon?
You might have missed the overwhelming belief in the UK that they had two potential champions in Andy Murray and Johanna Konta - and as often happens they talksed the talk, but did not complete the walk - that is, the media talked the talk, but when you discover that AM has been carrying an injury the whole time, and cannot go much beyond three sets - and so feel apart when his body gave up - although he carried on playing - and JK met the irresistble force of Venus Williams, taking advantage of the absence of Serena, and giving JK a lesson in how it is done. Konta sis well, but this was whole new territory for her - and VW has been a round a long tims.
So gallant Brits out - and I do not have to worry about Murray trying to lose while winning.
In the old days one of the joys of watching Wimbledon was the possibility of nipple bumps, what with all the exercise - but now the ladies wear some kind of tight constrictive bra - and as for knickers - not a chance. Ah well, have to look elsewhere for my kicks.
Still it is good to know while the UK burns as it tries to find a way out of Europe, and Mrs May is less in control than ever - the old certainties of Wimbledon continue - strawberries, cream, Pimms, and gallant losers.
