So Saturday.
I was laying in bed. It was around 8 something.
Grandkid beating on the door that I need to put some clothes on and put a coat on because his mommy is hurt.
That bastard punched my daughter in the stomach on purpose, told her he didn’t care about the baby, “I made it” and some other bullshit.
I get dressed saying “that motherfucker hurt my daughter…” I thought she was at home. I get my coat on and head down the walk way. My daughter is laying on the ground on the corner, throwing up.
Quick break…She is fine physically, the baby is fine. No trauma other than emotionally.
He drove down the street as I was on the phone with her dad. I told him he was done. He tried to say she just wanted to make a scene. He looked as if he was going for her, but he was picking up his phone. When he reached for it I was about to kick him in the face but he pulled off because he knew the cops were coming.
Ambulance came. I get in with her. She’s lying about this bitch’s last name. They figured it out. She felt like nothing would help even if she pressed charges.
So I was in the ambulance with her I was so pissed. Her dad showed up at the ER. We talked. I told him about how she lied about his name when the police asked her. He was “I knew it would happen again.”
Fast forward…we get home, she disappears. I’m still sick (so to speak), sleepy. Hungry with no food in the house. Made a dollar out 15cent. Sent son to the store with a $15 gift card to the grocery store the landpeople gave us. He don’t know how to stretch it, but he and grandkid were good for the afternoon.
Anyway, she disappeared. She reappeared and we sat on the couch and talked and she cried. She feels stuck. I told her don’t be obligated. She said no one cares for him for real and she was trying to be there but this is how he is. ADHD, bipolar. She doesn’t want another kid with another baby daddy who is not around. (Of course I said in my head the same thing as you that if she wasn’t out here nonprioritizing we wouldn’t be having these problems. But she just has to be with him.)
She went home Sunday because she had to work today. She says he hasn’t been talking to her. He needs help. Get some meds. Something.
So. That was my weekend in a nutshell.
Gotta do this presentation for class. Gotta go now so I won’t be late.
TTYLaters…
kindest regards
