london. agatha christie statue the mousetrap angela lansbury her friend. day 4. & day 5 whittlesey st. hotel dreamgirls. in yes i'm aware it's 2016.

so on our 4th day. which was Tues. we went and saw ‘the mousetrap’ which we’d see at least twice before. well i had. it’s still good just not new.
so before that. well we went by the agatha christue statue.thing. and at some point these 2 old ladies stopped us and asked for directions. Angela Lansbury and her friend as one of them look liked angela lansbury. the other didn’t. We talked about shows. The one who looked like Lansbury liked ‘bring him home’ from ‘les mis’. and she got to see elaine paige in ‘cats’ which is cool. We saw ‘cats’ last yr. not w/ elaine paige and I loved it. Her friend liked ‘master of the house’ from ‘les mis’. well it is a funny song. They recommended seeing ‘matilda’ which i’m on the fence about seeing. The lady who liked ‘bring him home’ said it’s one of the nicest shows she’s seen. matilda that is.
so we went saw the show went to waitrose the grocery store and came back to our flat.

so that was day 4.

So on our 5th day. which was Wed. we um. well we. went to whittlesey st. My mom was all excited bc that’s in her family. it was a nice st. too. and we ate at. a place called Eat and went into the hotel before the show.
oh so the show being ‘dreamgirls’ yes we saw ‘dreamgirls’. i’d never seen it but my mom had 30some yrs. ago in new york. i’d wanted to see it but we didn’t think we were going to. It was I think maybe opening wk. and like w/ movies i never see a movie right when it comes out. well we.got lucky. there were some tickets on hold but they were given to us. yeah. and an actress that had been in ‘glee’ was in it so that was cool. so there’s that. she was so good and the show was just. good it’s at the top of our list. it’s another one of those that’s more about the musicals then the visuals. what a show that’s the same thing i thought about ‘cats’. and she was cute as hell too.

as usual we went to waitrose then to our flat.
