Still No Talk in Will Fly For Food

I have yet to hear back from the bank. I did finally get in touch with someone yesterday, and they said they hadn't made a decision yet. I also got a response to my "Thanks for the interview" email, which is good. I have my fingers crossed.

My PT job is going OK so far. I work with a bunch of kids. I call them kids - late teens early 20's. They seem very young, but they are decent. There was this really deadbeat girl who is a single mom, has more kids than she can afford, early 20's, and is pregnant AGAIN. During my first week she came in late, or not at all, and left early 3/4 days. She kept using her pregnancy as an excuse to our boss. She quit a few weeks ago. I guess working was just too hard.

I hate people like that. Call a damn Whaaaaaaaaambulance. I'm a college graduate and I work three jobs. My husband and I don't have kids because we aren't ready for them, not to mention we can't afford them, so we choose to NOT get pregnant. You can't tell me this girl, after 3 kids, doesn't know how babies happen. Roni at DC always said, "but birth control is so expensive." So is a baby. I got a IUD that works for up to 10 years for $595. My sister had a baby in December and got a bill for $13,000. That's just to get the kid home. But daaaamn, birth control is so expensive. Shut the hell up. Call a whaaaambulance. Have some foresight and think about the future. Think about something else besides immediate gratification for once. Your man doesn't want to wear a condom? Well then he doesn't need sex. Yeah, birth control sucks. My IUD is the.fucking.worst. When I get it removed I'm going to stomp on it, then burn it, then bury it. But I digress.

I think I already mentioned it once, but I paid off my credit card this month. Next month I will turn my debt snowball onto my first student loan, a $3275 private loan. I've been feeling great lately despite the extra job and extra hours. I think I'm feeling better because I feel productive. I hope it lasts. I feel like an idiot every time I open my budget and yell, "OH YEAH I'M GETTING OUT OF DEBT!" But hey, that's life. :)

PS - I read this today - wish I made $703 a week! That would be 17.57 an hour, or just over $2,800 a month. I make less than that with 3 jobs. With 3 jobs and a college degree! Love my life. -_- Yep

My insurance made my BC free!

I can't remember if it was the private or the federal loan we were paying extra toward - but one of them wouldn't allow it. Like, they would take the money, but then the next month they charged up less. When I called they said that they can't take extra payments - they had to adjust the next payment if more was sent it. I was PISSED. I was planning on opening a separate account just for saving for that one, but I never got around to it.

Wow, that knocked up chick sounds like she really has her fucking life in order. Oye vey. Your PS link didn't work for me but damn, I can't believe how much you DON'T make and with a college degree. Such bullshit.
